Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Pixie ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use
the Pixie desktop application (the "App") and this website.
1. Information we collect
- Purchase information: when you buy a Pixie Pro license, our payment processors
(Lava.top, NowPayments) collect your email address and payment details. We only receive your email,
the plan purchased, and a transaction ID — we never see or store your card number.
- License data: your email, a randomly generated user ID, license expiry date, and a
hardware identifier (derived from your Windows installation ID) used to bind the license to your device.
- Gemini API usage: the App sends your voice/text input to Google's Gemini Live API
to function. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not intercept, log, or store this
audio/text ourselves.
- Optional diagnostics: if enabled in
config.json ("telemetry": true),
the App may send anonymous crash/error reports (no personal data) to help us fix bugs. You can disable
this at any time by setting it to false.
2. How we use your information
- To deliver your license key by email after purchase.
- To validate your license and prevent unauthorized sharing of paid features.
- To respond to support requests (e.g. "Lost your key?" recovery).
3. What we don't do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not require account registration.
- We do not store payment card details — this is handled entirely by our payment processors.
4. Data retention
License records (email, plan, expiry) are kept as long as necessary to support your license
(e.g. re-sending a lost key, handling refunds). You may request deletion of your data by contacting us —
note that this will invalidate your license.
